Handle Prickly Heat Ayurveda Way

Prickly heat goes away on its own with a small dose of TLC. Baby the area a bit where the rash has developed with cool compresses like ice cubes, which is an effective way to soothe the inflamed skin. If you have some time in hand, you can make a paste of sandalwood powder in rose water and apply it on the affected area. It works like charm. A paste of Fuller’s earth, rosewater and cucumber juice is a tried and tested remedy for prickly heat. Ayurveda also suggests green coconut water as an excellent option to cool the body heat. Drink and also apply some of it on the prickly heat to earn relief. Watermelons will also quench the summer heat. Apply a bit of mashed pulp of the fruit on the prickly heat.
