Glycerin is a transparent, viscous liquid that helps to maintain the skin’s homeostasis, by regulating the water balance in the intercellular matrix. It attracts moisture and water towards the skin, thereby keeping the skin hydrated and supple. The best aspect about glycerin is that it moisturizes the skin without making it oily.

Benefits of Rosewater

Its anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiseptic properties have proven rose water an all time best facial cleanser. Moreover, its lovely scent pleases the body and the soul. Rosewater is prepared from rose petals and its components have the ability to stimulate blood circulation in the blood vessels. So increasing blood circulation of the underlying skin cells it stimulates and improves the skin condition. Prepare Glycerin and Rosewater Lotion at Home

Into the small bowl, pour 4 ounces of rosewater and glycerin each. Whisk the ingredients together with a whisk or spoon. Add 6 drops of rose essential oil and mix gently. Decant this mixture into the sterilized glass bottle. Moreover, since this lotion is prepared from glycerin that lacks any kind of preservatives, it is important to refrigerate the prepared lotion. When required, apply some lotion onto your hands and body as you would do with any other lotion
