Why to Pay More Attention to Hydration

Water is one of the most essential nutrients our body needs to survive. And the reason is almost two-thirds of our total body weight consists of water, which plays a remarkable role in maintaining the wellbeing of every major organ and system to stay alive. Now being such crucial part of our survival, paying attention to fluid intake during activity, as well as nonactive hours, becomes equally important. Why Consuming Water is So Important
Water is one of the most important constituents of the human body and helps with the following functions:

  • Keeping your body at the right temperature.
  • Removing waste products from the body.
  • Transporting nutrients to cells. Water is major component of blood.

What Happens in the Consequences of Inadequate Hydration

If the amount of water one eliminates is not compensated by an appropriate amount of water intake, signs of dehydration may occur:

  • Thirst sensation
  • Decreases in the amount of urine
  • Darker urine color
  • Inexplicable tiredness
  • Headaches
  • Dry mouth
  • Dizziness
  • Decrease in mental awareness

Therefore, in order to keep the above circumstances at bay one should never miss to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water during these sunny days. Also, going more fluid that solid diet helps more, so staying active with water will surely keep you smart and alert forever.

There are certain circumstances like when you get involved in more physical activity or you are somewhere in heat temperature, then you should try drinking more water.
