Ease sore throat the herbal way

CoughRemedySore throat means the inflammation of the pharynx (back of the throat). It occurs normally when a person has a cold or an attack of influenza. If you’ve overstrained your vocal chords then too your throat gets sore and you have to whisper around to make your point heard.
To earn relief from sore throat follow these home remedies—
1. Take bark of mango tree and break it in small pieces. Wet grind it and sieve the liquid. Mix 10 ml of this fluid with 125 ml of water and use the decoction to gargle your sore throat.
2. Boil a fistful of Bishop’s weed or ajwain in water and strain the liquid. Add a pinch of rock salt to it and gargle with it to soothe the sore throat.
3. Cinnamon is considered as an effective remedy for a sore throat resulting from a cold. One teaspoon of roughly powdered cinnamon, boiled in a glass of water with a pinch of pepper powder, and two teaspoons of honey can be taken as a medicine in the treatment of this situation. Two or three drops of cinnamon oil, mixed with a teaspoon of honey, also give vast relief
4. A gargle prepared from fenugreek seeds has been found to be a very useful remedy for treating a sore throat. To prepare this gargle, two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds should be put in a litre of cold water and permitted to simmer for half an hour over a low flame. This should then be allowed to cool to a bearable temperature, strained, and then used totally as a gargle.
5. Dunk a tulsi tea bag in hot water. When the tulsi tea is ready you can sip on this liquid as well gargle with it to earn relief from sore throat because of cold. The same can be done with normal tea bags.
6. The leaves of henna are helpful as a sore throat cure. A decoction of the leaves can be used as a gargle for this reason.
